Position Overview
The Senior Director, AtHoc Sales will report to the General Manager, Enterprise Sales for BlackBerry. This position requires an ambitious, tenacious, intelligent, collaborative and strategic executive who can deliver results, solve problems, learn our business/products, and successfully motivate teams of selling professionals. The successful candidate will also be focused on the growth and retention of our customer base.
Open to remote locations - position could be located in any major city in US or Canada near an airport.
Key Job Responsibilities:
* Accountable for $50M in revenue.
* Drive revenue through renewing existing accounts, finding new customers and upselling current customers.
* Closely partner with sales leadership and cross-functional team members to develop highly efficient lead qualification processes and systems to drive meetings and opportunities for the greater field sales organization.
* Work with marketing and channel sales teams to turn their leads into new opportunities.
* Develop campaigns and promotions to facilitate lead and revenue generation.
* Partner with the global sales organization on programs to drive the overall business and results.
* Build, staff, train and retain a team.
Accountabilities and Performance Measures
* Knowledge and expertise in forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity and account management.
* Achieve assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
* Achieve strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
* Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
* Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience
* 10-12 years of sales management and leadership experience with increasing responsibility supporting the strategic, analytical and tactical needs of a sales organization with demonstrated success.
* Experience working in a SaaS based software company is required.
* Strong understanding of the unique needs of different sales functions – i.e. inside sales, field sales, channel sales
* Demonstrated leadership and success in managing a sales team (lead generation, renewals, subscriptions and CLM) and developing sales programs and promotions
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills (internal, external and across various levels)
* Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally while driving change throughout the organization
* Organized and able to manage and plan accordingly
* Tenacious and motivated with a willingness to learn
* Trustworthy, confident, resourceful
* Analytical with the ability to determine trends and propose solutions, must have good knowledge of working with sales automation (Salesforce)
